RA Kidney Care & Specialized Polyclinic (“RA Care”) is one of Tanzanian’s growing Kidney clinics operating under the mission, “we provide the best care”. Our main responsibility as a clinic is to ensure we help as many kidney disease patients in Tanzania. We look at each patient as an individual case, and our goal is to rehabilitate them to the highest standard of care possible regardless of social economic status, race or sex. We believe a big part of rehabilitation is education; not just for physical healing but emotional, spiritual and social. RA Care is dedicated to ensure all patients continue to live their best lives. OUR PURPOSE The main focus of opening RA Care is to help the people suffering in silence with kidney disease in Tanzania. One round of dialysis in the city of Dar es salaam costs approximately $120 - $150; where the the average person makes under $3 a day and with 86% of Tanzanians not having medical insurance. Kidney disease does not choose who it attacks and the average patient cannot afford the treatments. RA Care is dedicated to helping the poorest members of society suffering with kidney disease by making it more affordable as well as taking in donations that treat the poorest in Tanzania.
